"Primeiros Socorros" APP Privacy Policy INTRODUCTION This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned about how their “Personally Identifiable Information” is being used online in our first aid teaching APP. Also here we clarify the target audience of our APP, which are children, and the implications of same. This is an application that aims to teach first aid practices in a way digital and accessible. Our goal is to spread knowledge of these practices and let them available for immediate access by users of our application. the app was originally developed for teaching children, however we would like to emphasize that the content presented can be applied by people of any age group age. 2) What is the app made up of? Our app is divided into sections according to the teaching topic. The themes that we address are: Trauma, Choking, Convulsion, Fainting and Cardiorespiratory Arrest. Within each theme we have images and explanatory texts, in the model of “History told”. The idea is that the child/adult follows the scenario and learns step by step step of what to do in each situation. At the end of each theme we have a quiz, composed of 3-5 questions, with the aim of fixing and testing the learning that the user had when reading the explanations. 3) When do we collect information?  We collect information on the number of accesses to the application;  We collect information when you respond to quizzes present in the application (mentioned in topic 2). 4) What personal information do we collect from people who visit our app?  We do not collect personally identifiable information from visitors to our app.  We do not collect financial data such as credit card numbers.  The information collected is restricted to demographic data, such as country of access and cell phone model. Apart from such information, the database containing the information from our application only analyzes the number of hits in space time and correct answers/errors given in the quizzes present in the APP (such as mentioned in topic 2). We clarify that none of this information is reported individually, but as a summary of general activity, so that no it is not possible to identify data from any single user. 5) What do we use this information for? We use the information collected for purposes of tracking your use of the app. and for search. How do we keep the collected data?  Data is collected automatically and synchronized with the database Firebase by Google. When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13, The ‘Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act’ (COPPA) puts parents in control. A The Federal Trade Commission, the US consumer protection agency, applies the COPPA Rule, which specifies what operators of online services must do to protect the privacy and safety of the children involved. our app follows the general rules of COPPA, however, we do not collect identifying information personal rights of children, which exempts us from many specifications of this act. For survey cases where we use children's response information in the quizzes present in the app, the following measures are taken:  Prior to using any information from children, the researcher should send an informed consent form for the parents to sign and/or legal guardians. This term makes clear the purpose of the research, the procedures performed, possible discomforts and risks and benefits of the research. Furthermore, it is made clear that the parent/guardian may, at any time, remove the child from participating in the research, without any penalty or damage.
